6MoNPlus is a tool for monitoring geographically distributed dual stack LANs (IPv4 / IPv6) that allows rapid identification of the causes of outages.
Its development began as an internal project, subsequently financed by the .it Registry and finally presented during the 32nd edition of the TNC16 international conference in Prague.
It is currently distributed free of charge on the web and is used by various institutions including research institutions, universities and public administrations.
The activity consists in the development of software applications for monitoring, classification and geolocation on the network of cybersecurity Advanced Persistent Threat.
The unit participates in the teaching of the Cybersecurity 1st Level Professional Master Degree with the teaching module “Laboratory of Secure system configuration, device hardening and firewall management”.
